What a nice, fun trip. Glad you all had fun. I would love to go on that train ride, and gambling with the family sounds like a fun time, with a lot of laughs (just wish the gambling had been nicer to y'all). Glad you could win some of your money back before heading home.
I hope to make it to the Cat House sometime. I know I would be getting Sarah Lee a couple new toys. If the Dog place is nice, I would be getting Mandy a new outfit, probably Pj's.

WELL their were about 4 machines that were paying out !!!they all had lines in front of them ummmmmm what were they called ?? oh i know they had ATM right above them you will find one on each wall LOL !!

I'll look for those machines, although I don't usually play machines that I have to feed that much into at one time. But if they seem to be the ones that are paying out, then I'd be crazy not too!!! I've never tried those.

I'm out of here in about 4 hours. I have to stay at work long enough to suffer through an hour long webinar at 1:00. Then I'll be hitting the road at 2. If anyone sees a black Toyota Highlander heading...

I had to chuckle when I read that. I have heard the exact same rumor!

It sounds like you packed a lot into the time you were there. Great trip report.

Mel, the nickel ones we had luck on were the ones close to the self-serve drink station near the Reward Club Center. If you are at the drink center facing the back of the casino, they would be over to your right and maybe a little towards the back. They had several different ones in two different rows with one row of other machines separating them, I think. There was Solitaire Diamonds, Something 777's and Diamonds and Devils. Well, I was hoping to hear that those machines were all paying out like crazy since I'm headed up there tomorrow, but I'm glad to hear you had a good time. So I've got to ask - what nickel machines were you playing that were doing pretty well for you????

I haven't been up there on a weeknight in a long time. I've always had a theory that the machines pay out better on weekend nights. I'm hoping to disprove my own theory by hitting a jackpot on a Thursday...

Thanks for the nice trip report. I really enjoyed it and it wasn't too long for me. Sounds like a good trip to me, I have done the train trip out of Bryson City, that's fun, we tail gated in front of our TV with KFC chicken, somehow I sat through the whole massacre, enough said about that.

Next time you get through Pigeon Forge you will have to check out the cat house, its a neat place. Its to bad you didn't have a sack full of money from Harrahs to spend there.

Finally, time for the big weekend trip arrived. I got off work at noon, DH was not able to get off until around 3. After getting the car packed, we were on our way. I try to pack lightly, but it seems that I always take way too much stuff.
