Now, we seem to be a very cheerful lot here, but in terms of casinos, what is your biggest groan (complaint)---outside of very low paying or non-paying slots???? I don't usually answer my own question of the month, but personally, it seems like when I finally find a machine or two that pays off, the powers-that-be take it off the floor! I wish they would stop that.

Not enough variety in vp games. Smoke! CBC does have several non-smoking areas, but not where I play. Comfortable chairs. Not allowing cars to park in the Motorcycle designated area even though they have a sign stating Motorcycles ONLY and the lines to park in are narrow. grrrr KIOSK so I can get my own comp without having to beg for it. I will probably think of many more.

I want to see a casino with a true and honest players club payback/freeplay or comp system..Make it simple to understand. No doubletalk... If I earned it, then give it to me, when I want it..

But I have a few that were not mentioned. When a casino gets a popular new slot machine why do they only get 3 or 4 of them? If they see the machine is a big hit why not order at least 10 more of them. I do not like folks standing behind me waiting to get on a machine. This is another complaint that go's along with the first complaint. The casino can see all these folks standing and waiting for a empty machine. So they know this slot is popular so why not order more of them and then folks would not be standing there waiting for a empty seat. How about long lines at the cage. Gee, sometimes I am standing there for a long time till it is my turn. Yes, I do know there are money changer machines all around the casino BUT if I want to change a 100 dollar bill it will give me all 20's and YES I know I can stick the 20 in and get 5's BUT I use 10's so that is the reason I go to the cage. Seems there is like one or two windows open only so there for long lines. *Geri*

People hovering behind me to play my machine! I've been known to put in some more money (when I was really done) just so they would see that I'm not leaving anytime soon and then they move on and let me play in peace. There usually isn't too big of line at the cashier cage at Four Winds....guess most people just use the bill changers. So , Geri...couldn't you just put in 2-5's in place of a 10? Just kidding.... Now when the bill changer/ticket redemption machines are down....that's a different story...then the lines at the cage are 10 miles long! I also agree with you about having more than a couple of the "hot" machines.

Mostly on blackjack games, how come the bosses will let the lower minimum tables ($5, $10) be packed full of players while some of the higher limit games ($25 & up) may have no players at all? They have explained their reasoning to me in the past, but I can't recall what that was. It just seems to make more sense that if they dropped the limits on a couple of those empty games, some players would drift over from the packed tables. The dealers are going to be paid whether they're dealing or standing there doing nothing. Maybe I'm missing something, but I would think it would be better for the casino to have the table running, even if it is at the lower minimums. One 10 slides into the machine alot faster then messing around with 2 fives So I go to the bank before I leave on a trip and get 10's which gives me a start in the casino and then later on when they are gone I still end up at the cage window. Now Dan likes 5's so he is content going to the bill changer but not me so I go to the cage window and get a hundred in 10's at a time and sometimes I will get $200 in 10's at a time. If the cage is really really packed with long lines I then just put a $100 bill into the machine but do not like to do that cause then your money has habit of disapearing to darn fast. But for some reason I do not care for 5's. I would rather stick in a 20 then mess around with 5's. I like 10's and 20's the best and a $100 slides in really nice but that go's way to fast so try not to stick them into the machine to often. You are so right about there are never enough low-limit games, because they are soon filled up, and the higher limit games always have some empty tables. Too many times have we wanted to sit down and play Blackjack at $5-$10 a hand, when the tables are full, and most of the people sitting there playing are playing $50 a hand or even more. Now why can't those people go to a table with the higher limits, and let some of us sit at a table and play? Oh, yes. I know where you are coming from. Grrrrr.......

Evidently the profit margin (however small) is meaningfull enough to keep the higher table price standing even though there is no one playing. Gee. I hate to think that the profit from one or two players on a higher priced table is giving them that much of a profit.

" I think when it was explained to me, it had something to do with that idea, right or wrong. Carol; some of those people betting big at the low-limit games say they want to be at a table with other players, & not playing alone at the high-limit games. Also, it gives a bigger range to lower a bet if the table is running bad. I have nothing against those players being on the lower limit games. I don't care too much what someone else is betting & they have as much right to be there as I do.That's why they put a maximum bet on the table anyway.

Some of those people are even more fun to be playing with. What I don't like, is when there is not enough seats for the low limit players.

When they do that I stop and go thru the paytable and read everything there....taking my time. I also love to play the penny slots and the two cent slots. This is after I have played the $1, .50 & .25 machines. If you are playing the $1 machines...get a coca-cola before you leave and take it with you when you go to the penny slots cause you will not get anything to drink there unless they get caught up with serving everyone in the higher play areas. The one thing that bugs me and I havent had it happen in a long time is.... As you sit next to someone at a machine, they say,"that machine is taken." I am pretty sure I did not sit in anyones lap. But my choice is to be rude and ignore the statement or just move on. Cause if I get upset at something like that it seems my night is ruined and I cannot relax and play and I am sure not to win anything. I used to love to play those "I Dream of Jeannie" penny slots...they are now gone from where we play. I guess I don't go enough so by the time I go back, the ones I liked are not there anymore. But the one thing I hate is: When I get up from a machine and someone sits right down and the darn thing hits before I have gotten out of range and I hear it!

I loved the I Dream of Jeanie slots, too. The last time I saw them was at Blue Chip but it's been over a year since I was there so I am sure they are gone to slot heaven......just like my I Love Lucy slots. What's even worse than someone saying "this machine is taken" is when they are sitting there with one leg sprawled out on the chair next to them and it's past two other machines! That bugs me even more I think. They act like they are in their own livingroom or something! I could deal with it if the casino is slow but when it's packed and machines are hard to come by, that really makes me mad.
