I was reading another board with reviews and they really were awful. They said since Harrah's took over, the place had really gone down. Super tight machines, dirty hotel rooms, rude employees, etc. I have always trusted the info I have gotten from this board and thought it would be nice to hear what you have to say. If it's that bad, I sure don't want to go. But I also don't want to pay $200 a night at Belterra or Grand Vic. We are wanting to take my sister and BIL for their first visit to Indiana and I don't want it to be a horrible experience. Not winning - we are used to that. Dirty rooms and rude employees - not used to that. Harrah's at Cherokee has wonderful rooms and everyone is extremely friendly. When the Horseshoe was Caesar's, we never had a problem (except not winning much).
Please, those who have been to the casino, hotel and restaurants (buffet or grills - not the Steak House) - let me know your opinions. Is it worth a 4 hour drive? Are the rooms ok? Any opinions will be appreciated.
Thanks for your help!
