Halloween in Cherokee proved to be a lot of fun. My friend Don and I left early (for us old retired guys) at 7:10am and got to Cherokee around
9:30am. I was surprised to see that there was already a pretty good crowd in the casino. We both played the 2 coin quarter quick hits, hoping to get the 3 quick hit symbols in any position for 1,000 quarters. Well, neither of us got those 3 quick hits. But, - - - - - - - Don got a 10X, 10X, single bar for the 1,000 quarters we were trying for. What a thrill. I got a double jackpot, double jackpot, double red 7s for 400 quarters, and then ------- I got a 10X, 10X, Double Bar for 2,000 quarters!!! Wow!!!
Harrah's must have had a good October, because we saw a lot of slot players hitting jackpots. Much more than I can remember
seeing on previous trips. I guess since Sat. was the last day of the month, they loosened the machines up some. Whatever it was, Don & I were glad. We
played until about 3pm and then made it back to Gainesville before dark and the trick or treaters. It was a fun Halloween in Cherokee. Thanks for reading.
