I left my house yesterday a little later than I planned but not that much later. Got to Four Winds in exactly an hour. When I made my reservation a few weeks ago, I talked to a lady that I've spoken to before. She remembered me because we had a conversation another time I booked a room about MS and how she has three members of her family that have it. She requested that I get the jr. suite again and even wrote in a specific room number that was close to the elevator. I know that requests can't always be honored for comp rooms but I thought if I got there at the beginning of check in time that hopefully I would get it ....and I did. The room was as beautiful as ever and I told the jacuzzi I would be back later to use it!
Those bathrooms at that hotel are sooo pretty. I wish I had one like that at
home.
I'm going to start off by saying as usual this was another losing trip and I went through A LOT of money but in the end when I left today at 1:30pm, I was only $150 in the hole, which is VERY good for me.
I got a lot of play on
almost everything I played and now for the highlights....
Went down to the casino around 4pm. I hadn't really been feeling too good the past week but I planned on making the best of this trip anyway. I walked around for a little bit to see if there were any new machines. There were a few in the area I was but cannot remember the names of them...sorry. I hadn't started taking notes yet!
The casino really wasn't very crowded
and I was able to get just about any machine I wanted. I started out by playing the Wizard of Oz. I got the bonus a lot but really didn't get much for
those but was able to play a long time on $20. Then I went over to the newer Wizard of Oz...Glinda wasn't being very nice to me but I did pretty good on
the flying monkey ones. I got the 2nd to the smallest progressive once...$28. I cashed out at $40 and figured that was good enough because anyone who plays
them knows how fast your credits can go on there. I was playing 40-80 credits a spin.
I played my favorite Dragon Spin and was doing really well on that. I got the spin bonus many times, most of them were small wins but I did get $20 twice and $10 a few times and once on non bonus spin, I got $66...I liked that! I was playing 90 credits on that...the least you can play to be able to get the spin bonus.
On to the penny Quick Hits. I was playing a Double Gold and hit 6 quick hit symbols for over $77.
I cashed out at $101 and also cashed out a ticket earlier on that machine for $75. I found Aretta's favorite slot....Sheepload of Crap..oops I mean CASH!
She was NOT kidding about the bonus coming on so loud. The first time I
got it, I wasn't even looking at the screen because I was watching something over in the snack bar and when it came on I almost had a coronary! It really
scared me! The second time I hit the bonus, even though I saw it coming it scared me again. I was looking for a volume button , too but didn't see one
either. Anyway, I didn't do well on that machine so I moved onto the High Limit room....BIG mistake as always but I actually did get more play than normal
on those machines , too but just not enough to cash out on. I would have cashed out if I doubled my money but that never happened.
Took a break to get my usual BBQ Bacon burger and cheesy fries and took it up to the room to eat and watch three shows I like and by the time I did that, I was kinda tired so thought I would just take advantage of the jacuzzi and not go back down to the casino. At least I didn't get sick off my food like last time I was there.
This morning, I went down to the casino about 8:30. I went back to the Wizard of Oz machines (both the new and older) but they weren't hitting as well so I moved on. I found some Millionaire Sevens and played that. I'm thinking that was the name of the slots that that lady won some big bucks on when they first opened Firekeepers in Michigan. I did pretty good on that for awhile but then lost but I only spent $20. That machine has a ladder multiplyer as the bonus and the most mine got up to was 10x but this lady next to me was only betting ONE line at ONE credit and what do you think she gets? 50x her bet for a whole 50 cents! Could you imagine if she was betting like I was .....90-150 credits? I wanted to say something to her but I kept my mouth shut!
Anyway, I liked that slot machine. The most I got was $9
I even got the bonus on I Dream Of Jeanie and Survivor....something I have never done before. I'm telling you , it was really weird how they all seemed to be hitting!
They have the new Goldfish 2 slots. I've never seen them before. They are reels instead of videos. There are 5 different bonuses and I got three of them but never really got anything to keep. I went back to the Quick Hits and I was really glad I did. This time I was playing a Stars and Stripes and I got the bonus and got 16 free spins. Well on about the third free spin, I hit the bonus spins again so it added 16 more. Does anyone think those free bonus spin symbols remind you of hot dogs???
They do to me!
Anyway from that initial bonus I got the free spins FOUR times during it. I
swear that thing was going forever! I ended up with 64 free spins. I would have liked to have gotten a lot on it but only ended up with about $70...not
complaining though. After that I played for a long time on that machine and must have hit the bonus another 5 or 6 times but didn't get a whole lot each
time. I did get the 5 quick hit symbols once for $15.75. I had a lot of fun on that machine, too! I cashed out over $200 on that machine.
After that I just walked around playing a little on various machines. The only one I got anything good on was $50 on the bonus for Count Money. I was going to play some more Quick Hits on the other side of the casino but they weren't hitting as well and then some lady came and sat down and was smoking me out of there so I took that as my cue to go home . I was afraid if I played much longer I would start losing all the money I got back.
Oh yeah, I had a coupon for a freebie and of all things, it was a stupid football...I hate football!!!!!! I got it anyway and will probably give it to someone. You had your choice between Notre Dame or University of Michigan so I took the Notre Dame one. They started giving them out way before they said they were going to and by the time I saw someone walking around with one, I was on the opposite end of the casino so when I got to the W Club booth, the line was 5 miles long but it did move really fast so I was happy. I really didn't want to waste precious gambling time waiting in line for a stupid football. I wish it would have been a Notre Dame blanket or something...at least I could use that.
Anyway, like I said I lost but didn't lose anywhere as much as I usually do so I was happy. I put that money back in my casino stash for next time. Oh one more thing, The casino smelled a lot more like cleaners. I think they are making sure to clean better because of the flu germs. I appreciated that except the smells of the cleaners were giving me a headache. One not so good thing though was in the bathrooms, there was no hot water. I was trying to wash my hands more when I was there but it would have been nice if there was at least warm water. I hope they have hot water in the restaurants for washing dishes!
Well that's about it...thanks for reading! Sorry again about the length of this report.

I also
was playing Mr. Woo....I know that's an older one but I never played it and I was doing pretty good on that, too. Of course, I eventually lost my $20 on
that but I played for a long, time. There was a lady two machines down from me and anytime I got anything she would say something like "oh...that's a
good hit " or "oh, you got the good bonus!". I think she was paying more attention to my game then hers!
