Hi--This is my first time writing a TR on this forumn--We are casino players as you can tell by my name lol--we just got back from Cherokee, and like the
other poster, we too were there during the 4th of July week-end...We had a great time, and the weather could not have been better, there is just something
about the mountains, fresh air, and babbling brooks, that keep bringing us back to this area.
We stayed at the casino hotel july 3 - 5, big room, nice comfortable king bed, large bathroom w'hugh tub & shower, marbled sinks, fridge, & 42 " tv. oh yes, can't forget the beautiful view.
The first couple of days it was very crowded in the casino, we found the slots to be tight at first, but on the last day, my husband hit on a 25 cent triple 7 machine for over $ 1000. the best part was we didn't have to pay taxes, because he hit $500 on 2 different spins..YEAH!!!
The most I won was $150.00 on a dollar machine...
Friday night the 3rd of July, we had tickets to see KC and the Sunshine Band, I remember listening to them when I was ( lets just say when I was younger)...he puts on a very high energy show, and I would recommend you see his show if you get the chance...he also has a really good band and dancers.
On Sunday we saw the country music group "Little Big Town", didn't care as much for their show, the sound was so high, it about burst your ears.
Anyway, just thought I'd let you know about our little week-end trip to Cherokee---our next casino trip will be our once a year trip out to Las Vegas in October....can't wait!! Happy Travels and Good Luck
